Man Injured Fleeing Law Enforcement
A Rolla man had serious injuries June 13 after he crashed his vehicle during a pursuit from law enforcement.
Online arrest reports indicate that Douglas G. Marshall, 51, struck a tree around 10:23 p.m. on Edgar Road, about one-half mile east of Crooked Creek Road in Crawford County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Marshall was fleeing from deputies in a 2023 Kia Forte when he encountered flooding. Marshal drove off the right side of the road and struck a tree.
Marshall was taken to Phelps Health in Rolla for treatment.
The highway patrol arrested Marshall at 12:36 a.m. for driving while intoxicated (drugs), careless and imprudent driving and other violations.
