Sullivan Man Injured In Crash

A Sullivan man was injured April 24 after striking a ditch, later being arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated.
Blaine H. Summers, 22, was driving a 2003 Dodge Ram on Cartwright Road in Crawford County around 11 p.m. He failed to negotiate a turn, went off the roadway and crashed into the ditch.
Summers was not wearing a seat belt.
He had moderate injuries and was taken to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital for treatment.
The highway patrol arrested Summers at 11:32 p.m.
