One Dead, One in Custody Following Highway WW Shooting

One person is dead and another is in custody following a shooting on Highway WW in Crawford County earlier today, according to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities say the scene is now secure and there is no ongoing threat to the public. Details surrounding the incident, including the identities of those involved and the circumstances leading up to the shooting, have not yet been released.

The Sheriff’s Office confirmed the fatality and arrest in a brief statement issued at 3:20 p.m., and noted that the investigation is ongoing. Additional information is expected to be made public tomorrow.
