Two Critically Injured In Crash On I-44

Two people on April 4 had critical injuries after overturning in a truck on Interstate 44 at the 230 mile-marker in Stanton.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the occupants were two males from St. Clair, ages 40 and 34.

The 40-year-old passenger was ejected from the 2002 Ford F-250.

According to the patrol, the driver traveled off the left side of the road, struck the guardrail and overturned.

Neither occupant was wearing a seat belt.

They were taken to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis for treatment.
