Cuba Man Charged With Drug Trafficking

A drug bust on Oct. 11 resulted in the seizure of a substantial amount of methamphetamine and five firearms.

Ricky Fisher, 63, Cuba, has been charged with 11 counts, including five for unlawful possession of a firearm, five for unlawful use of a firearm and second-degree drug trafficking.

Officers from the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group (LANEG), in coordination with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 6000 block of Old Highway 66 in Cuba. 

The operation uncovered approximately 440 grams of methamphetamine (nearly one pound), five firearms and drug paraphernalia related to both the use and distribution of the narcotic.

Fisher is being held without bond.
