Lady Eagles Go Battle In North County
Sullivan (5-3) played their first season tournament in North County on Saturday, Sept. 14.
The Lady Eagles fell in their first match against Fort Zumwalt North, losing both sets 25-21.
Sullivan bounced back with a clean sweep over Perryville (25-18, 25-23).
They struggled to keep the same momentum in their final two contests against Farmington (25-16, 25-14) and Potosi (25-14, 25-17).
Ava Blankenship led the Lady Eagles in North County with 50 attacks, 23 points, 18 kills and five blocks.
Karlee Head had a team-high 42 assists. She also recorded 27 attacks, 14 points, nine kills, three aces and two blocks.
Abby Record racked up 47 attacks, 21 points, 16 kills, four blocks, two assists and an ace.
Stevi Saling stacked up 45 attacks, 16 points, 12 kills and four blocks.
Kelsie Hansel notched 31 attacks, 10 points, nine kills and a block.
Sydney Montee secured 14 attacks, 7 points, four aces, two kills, a block and an assist.
Ava Todd logged 26 assists, 5 points, five attacks, four aces and a kill.
Allie Brune tallied 39 attacks, 10 points, seven kills and three aces.
Chloe Carson clutched two attacks, an ace and an assist.
Andi Giebler grabbed two aces and two assists.
