Woman Charged With Beastiality In Crawford County

A Ballwin woman was charged Feb. 14 with beastiality in Crawford County.

Sofina L. Bonfanti, born 1985, faces two counts of sex with an animal.

Bonfanti allegedly had sexual contact with two separate dogs in June 2023 at a Steelville residence. 

Bonfanti allegedly provided a juvenile with a cellular device last summer. Bonfanti’s ex inspected the phone and found several images of her having sexual contact with two dogs.

Bonfanti allegedly sent images of the actions to a contact in her phone.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office opened the investigation Aug. 9 and attempted to locate Bonfanti her Jan. 6 at the Steelville residence.

One of the dogs depicted in the content on the phone was at the residence. There were a number of animals there.

The probable cause statement says it is unknown where Bonfanti is currently living.
