Eagles Wrestling Battles Rolla/Glendale At Tri-Meet

Both Sullivan teams wrestled Glendale and the host, Rolla, in a tri-meet on Thursday, Feb. 1.

The boys (10-2) dominated Glendale 60-19 and Rolla 45-18, while the girls (7-2) crushed Glendale 42-12 but came up short 45-36 to Rolla.

Boys

Camden Henderson (113) suffered a 9-4 decision loss to Bradley Hiteshew (Glendale) and a 7-1 decision loss to Caleb Parker (Rolla).

Carter Blankenship (120) secured a win by forfeit in the Glendale round for 6 points but couldn’t overcome a 6-2 decision loss to Carson Mickem (Rolla).

Oliver Borton (126) scored 12 points with a victory by forfeit and a fall over Joseph Foust (Rolla).

Conner Roach (132) collected 12 points with a win by forfeit and a pin over Ethan Watkins (Rolla).

Draysen Nolie (138) lost his only round due to a 9-0 major decision against Jackson Williams (Glendale).

Eli Peregoy (138) overcame Matthew Light (Rolla) in an 8-6 sudden victory in his only match for 3 points.

Dominic Ransom (144) emerged victorious with a fall over Cassius Dunn (Glendale) and an 8-6 decision over Jack Mrozowicz (Rolla) for 9 points.

Adam Peregoy (150) contributed nine points for his team, winning by forfeit in the Glendale round and beating Sawyer Black (Rolla) in an 8-6 sudden victory.
