Crawford County Woman Opens Fire On Victims Walking Near Property
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Cook Station woman who shot at two individuals walking near her property.
Lisa Boston, 56, has been charged with two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
A deputy responded to the 22000 block of County Road in Cook Station on Dec. 3 after the victims reported being shot at.
Boston said the two victims were walking near her property and she shot at the ground.
According to the probable cause statement, deputies tried to coax Boston out of her home, but she came to a window, told law enforcement to leave and closed it. She also closed the blinds.
The victims said Boston fired at least four rounds from the firearm.
The sheriff’s department served a search warrant Dec. 12 at Boston’s property and recovered two handguns.
