FCSO Assists In Arrest Of Sex Offender With Stolen RV, Generator
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the Nov. 1 arrest of a registered sex offender in a stolen RV and generator, valued around a combined $160,000.
Robert N. White, 22, who has been convicted of first-degree statutory rape in Jefferson County, had an active no bond probation violation warrant for his arrest.
He cut off his electronic GPS monitoring device while in the Franklin County area.
Franklin County detectives and Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies surrounded White’s residence off Dittmer Catawissa Road in Jefferson County, taking him into custody.
“Since crime has no jurisdictional boundaries, law enforcement relationships are important to provide a safe community for all citizens wherever they live,” said Franklin County Sheriff Steve Pelton. “I want to thank the Jefferson County Sheriff Dave Marshak, along with his detectives for their assistance in the apprehension of the person.”
