Bourbon Man Ejected From Motorcycle After Colliding With Deer

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a Bourbon man had serious injuries Sunday after he collided with a deer and was ejected from his motorcycle.
Mark C. Openlander, 67, was transported by ARCH 6 to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis for treatment.
Openlander was traveling on Highway N, two miles south of Bourbon, when his 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 collided with a deer.
The motorcycle overturned and came to a rest on the side of the road.
Openlander was wearing a safety device.
