Human Remains Confirmed To Be Missing Sullivan Man

The Crawford County Sheriff's Office said Friday that human remains found last November have been confirmed as that of a missing Sullivan man.
Sheriff Darin Layman said the coroner's office confirmed that the remains were of James Wright, 47.
Wright was reported missing Aug. 9, 2022 and was last seen July 25, 2022.
Layman said no cause of death has been determined.
The remains were found Nov. 4, 2022 in the 4100 block of the North Service Road in West Sullivan.
Deputies and members of the Criminal Investigations Division were unable to determine the identity and the remains were sent to a forensic anthropologist.
