Lonedell Woman Accused Of Drunkenly Pointing Gun At Husband
A Lonedell woman is accused of drunkenly pointing a gun at her husband during a physical altercation.
Kimberly Curley, 55, has been charged with unlawful use of a weapon and fourth-degree assault.
The victim told Franklin County sheriff’s deputies that he and Curley had been drinking when an argument began.
Curley allegedly made comments about hurting herself and grabbed a handgun.
A struggle ensued over the gun and Curley allegedly pointed it at the victim and pulled the trigger. The gun did not contain a round in the chamber and the victim was able to take it away.
He took a second handgun away before Curley could grab it.
The victim left the residence and called 911.
Deputies said evidence of intoxication was apparent when they arrived on scene.
