Crawford County Men Charged With Drug Possession

Two Crawford County men were arrested March 29 for drug possession.

Steven Volner, 54, Cherryville, and Donald Boulch, 52, Steelville, were arrested in the 20800 block of Highway 19 in Cherryville.

Crawford County sheriff’s deputies were searching for Volner, who was wanted for failure to appear in court.

Volner was charged in January with possession of a controlled substance and receiving stolen property after being found with a tiny home.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies identified Volner on March 29 and gave chase after he fled.

A deputy caught him and drug paraphernalia with meth residue was allegedly found on his person.

Another deputy made contact with Boulch, who fled into a camper.

Boulch had a warrant from probation and parole.

He was allegedly found with a crystalline substance believed to be meth.

A stolen vehicle from Park Hills was located on the property where the subjects were arrested.

Both men are being held without bond.
