Lady Eagles Win Two Big Road Games

The Sullivan Lady Eagles varsity girls are on a roll this basketball season. Sullivan is steamrolling opponents and finished the week with a 6-8 record. The Lady Eagles defeated Capital City on Thursday, 53-38. On Friday, Sullivan kept the motivation and collapsed Cuba, 54-42.

Sullivan traveled to Capital City on Thursday and walked away with the win, 53-38.

The Lady Eagles were firing on all cylinders and Abby Peterson led in points with 26. Olivia Witt followed with 13 and Dakayla McClain finished with 12. Molly Lohden landed with two points.

Sullivan’s defense was extraordinary and forced 20 turnovers. The Lady Eagles recorded 12 steals and Kylee McReynolds led with six. Peterson tallied three and Witt followed with two. McClain claimed one. Sullivan tallied 40 rebounds. McClain led in rebounds with 15 and Peterson followed with 12. McReynolds landed seven. Lohden and Witt each had two. Alex Bylo and Delaney George finished with one.

The Lady Eagles traveled the next day to Cuba.

Sullivan collapsed the Lady Wildcats, 54-42.
