Two Shot And Killed In Pacific Jan. 4

On Wednesday, January 4, around 7:30 p.m., the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about two persons being shot in the 2400 block of Spring Valley Drive, Pacific. Sheriff’s Deputies, Meramec Ambulance and Pacific Fire Department arrived and located two victims who had been shot outside of their residence. 

The male victim, who was declared on scene, was 39-year-old Ronald G. Cline Jr. The female victim, who was transported by EMS to and later died at the hospital, has been identified as 34-year-old Leslie N. Barstow. Both were of Pacific.

Investigators have spoken to a witness who heard a vehicle leaving the area after the shooting occurred. 

Anyone who has any information - including camera footage from the times of 5-8 p.m. Jan. 4 - are asked to contact the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and ask for Detective Lt. Pieske, 636-583-2560.

This case is being investigated as a homicide and further details will be released as it develops.
