St. Clair Man Charged With Shooting Neighbor

On January 2, 2023, at around 11:30 a.m., deputies responded to the 600 block of Perkins Road, St. Clair, Mo., in for a report of a shooting. On arrival, Deputies located a 47-year-old male who was shot in the abdomen and left arm. The male victim was able to identify the shooter as his neighbor and told deputies the two were in an argument prior to him being shot. Deputies located the neighbor who admitted to the shooting. 

The shooter in the case is identified as 59-year-old James David Lairmore from St. Clair. A no-bond warrant was issued on Mr. Lairmore for one count Assault 1st Degree and one count Armed Criminal Action.
