Bourbon Woman Drives Over Boyfriend’s Leg During Argument

A Bourbon woman was arrested Dec. 3 after she allegedly ran over her boyfriend’s leg, causing substantial injuries.

Jennifer L. Scola, 35, has been charged with first-degree domestic assault, armed criminal action and driving while intoxicated.

Her bond was set at $100,000.

The incident occurred at the Dollar General in Lonedell.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the victim said he was arguing with Scola while traveling west on Highway 30.

They pulled into the Dollar General parking lot. At some point, Scola took off in the truck and ran over the victim’s leg.

Evidence was located to support the victim’s claim.

Two witnesses said they saw the victim lying in the entrance to the store.

Scola returned to the scene and was taken into custody.
