Bourbon Blooms Offering Fresh Flowers, Gifts

Bourbon Blooms, a full-service flower shop, is open for business and looking to provide area residents with the freshest arrangements for any occasion.

While the business offers flowers for weddings, funerals and more, Bourbon Blooms also has gifts, formalwear and a gallery featuring paintings, stained glass and more from local artists.

The business, owned by Angela Dace, opened in July. Dace has worked in floristry all her life and she is excited to be open in Bourbon.

“It’s been great,” said Dace about the reception she’s been given. “People are happy to have us here. It’s nice to see the town growing while keeping that small-town appeal.”

Dace decided to open Bourbon Blooms after seeing a need for a florist/gift store.

Dace is supported by Susan Rector, who handles booking and social media. They have overhauled the space that used to belong to BOR2.

Dace credits Bremer Hardware and Stellar Stoneworks.

“Without them, the building wouldn’t look as good as it does,” she said. Bremer Hardware provided them with supplies, while Stellar Stoneworks came through with the countertops.

Customers can access bourbonblooms.com and shop arrangements and bouquets for every occasion, including birthdays, anniversaries, sympathy and new babies.

Customers can order online, in person or over the phone.

Bourbon Blooms will deliver to Bourbon, Leasburg, Spring Bluff, Stanton, Strain and Sullivan. A delivery charge is calculated on the website.

Same-day delivery is an option.

They are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
