Sullivan Man Charged In 2015 Child Molestation Case
A Sullivan man has been arrested on three counts of first-degree child molestation stemming from a 2015 case.
Kenneth W. Harper, 65, was arrested Tuesday, September 20, by Sullivan Police on the outstanding warrant for child molestation. Harper is a registered sex offender from California. He moved to Sullivan where he is alleged to have committed the crimes in the 300 block of East Vine Street.
Harper now resides in the 200 block of Virginia Street in Sullivan.
The probable cause statement alleges that the incidents occurred in 2015. Harper allegedly committed the crimes of child molestation with a family member.
Harper appeared in Franklin County Circuit Court on Wednesday, September 21, via closed circuit television where the court determined that his bond would remain the same $250,000 with another bond reduction hearing scheduled for Tuesday, September 27.
The case against Harper was investigated by the Sullivan Police Department.
