Volleyball Competes At North County Tournament

The Lady Eagles traveled to North County over the weekend. This was their first regular season tournament showing. They finished the weekend with two wins, two losses, and one tie.

Sullivan opened the day with a win against Bismark, a tie against Fort Zumwalt North, a loss to Windsor (Imperial), another win against Bismark, and finished the day with a loss to Festus.

Bismarck (Game One)

Sullivan had a victory over Bismark in both sets, 25-21 and 25-23. Emma Brune led in kills with ten. She also had two points. Ava Blankenship tallied five kills. Olivia Witt recorded three kills, two aces, and fourteen points. Stevi Salling landed two kills. Emily Clonts had two kills and two points.

Maci Nolie led in assists with twenty. She also claimed three points. Anna Brooks followed in assists with one, one ace, and a point. Raegan Johnson tallied two aces and four points.

Fort Zumwalt North

Sullivan won the first set, 25-18, and Fort Zumwalt North won the second set, 25-22, to force the tie. Witt led in kills this time with eight and had one point. Brune followed in kills with four. She also had two aces and three points. Blankenship recorded three kills. Saling got one kill. Erica Juergens landed one kill. Clonts claimed three aces and seven points.

Nolie led in assists with sixteen and had one point.

Windsor (imperial)

Windsor (imperial) gave Sullivan their first loss of the day. The Lady Eagles fell in both sets, 25-23 and 25-11. Blankenship led in kills with five. Clonts followed with three kills, one ace, and a point. Brune made two kills and one point. Saling secured two kills. Witt tallied one kill and two points.

Nolie led in assists with thirteen. She also had a kill and four points. Johnson finished with an assist.

Bismarck (Game Two)

The Lady Eagles made a repeat from earlier in the day by defeating Bismarck in two sets again, 25-13 and 25-17.

Sullivan finished the day with a loss to Festus in two sets, 25-20 and 25-21.
