Seventh Annual Peoples Bank Back To School Classic Begins Friday

Sullivan faces Capital City, Desoto and Northwest in Pool A action

Sixteen teams are scheduled to compete and take the field on Friday at Campbell-Chapman Sports Complex at the seventh annual Peoples Bank Back to School Classic.

The tournament features some of the best softball talent from across the state. Some of the best teams in their classes will compete.

The defending conference champion Lady Eagles will be in Pool A with Capital City, Desoto and Northwest. They will play back-to-back games against Desoto and Capital City on Friday morning.

The first game begins at 10 a.m. on Field 1 against Desoto.

Game 2 begins at 11:45 a.m. against Capital City on Field 1.

Sullivan will finish up pool play on Field 1 against Northwest at 3:15 p.m.

The Pool A winner plays the winner of Pool D on Field 1 on Saturday at 10:45 a.m. in the semifinal.

Pools

Pool B features Hillsboro, Linn, Owensville, and Washington.

Pool C includes Eldon, Eureka, Jackson, and Windsor.

Pool D contains Helias, Mexico, Pacific, and Webster Groves.

Championship

The Pool A and Pool D winners meet on Field 1 at 10:45 a.m.

The Pool B and Pool C winners meet on Field 2 at 10:45 a.m.

The championship game will be held on Field 1 at 2:15 p.m.

The third place is at the same time on Field 2.

Second place winners from each pool play at 11 a.m on fields 3 and 4.

The seventh place game is on Field 4 at 2:30 p.m. and fifth place is at 2:30 p.m. on Field 3.

The third place pool winners play at 9:15 on fields 3 and 4. The 9th place game is at 12:45 p.m. on Field 3. The 11th place game is at the same time on Field 4.

The fourth place pool winners play at 9 a.m. on fields 1 and 2.

The 15th place game is on Field 2 at 12:30 p.m. and at the same time is the 13th place game on Field 1.
