Ex-Felon Charged After Firing Gun At Trooper During Foot Pursuit

A Cadet man who has eight felony convictions to his name faces multiple charges after allegedly firing a gun at a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper during a foot pursuit.

The man has been charged with first-degree assault, armed criminal action, two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance.

He is being held without bond at the Crawford County Jail.
