Union Man Dead In Crawford County Accident

A Union man died early Wednesday morning in a head-on crash on Highway DD in Crawford County.
Two Eureka men had serious injuries.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the accident occurred at 5:10 a.m. near Old Springfield Road.
According to the patrol, David Beck, 53, Union, was traveling in a 2010 Jeep Patriot when he drove into the path of a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Matthew Duerfahrd, 47, Eureka.
The vehicles collided on head-on.
Matthew Duerfahrd and Tyler Duerfahrd, 20, Eureka, were transported to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital for treatment.
Beck was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at 6:37 a.m.
None of the occupants were wearing seat belts.
