Eagles Golfers Finish Season At State Meet

The Sullivan Eagles had three players compete at the Class 3 state meet in Sedalia May 16-17.

Logan Watters, Charlie Lohden, and Kaleb White represented.

On day one, Watters finished 81st with a score of 101.

Lohden landed in 67th after he shot a 92.

White was in 58th after he carded a 90.

All three players improved and lowered their day one scores on the second day.

Lohden fired a career best and shot an 83.

He tied for 57th behind White who shot an 84 and finished 56th.

Watters shot a 90 and finished 79th.

White's totals for the two days was 174.

Lohden finished with a 175.

Watters carded a 191 after both rounds.

The team championship was won by Father Tolton Regional Catholic High School, which shot a 587.

The individual championship was a tie between Logan Cox of Hallsville and Samuel David Schoberl of Bishop Lebland, who shot a 144 after two days.
