Crawford County Deaths, Suicides Up Year-Over-Year

Crawford County Coroner Darren Dake said overall deaths here are up 12% compared to the same point in 2021, with suicides up as well.
Dake said fatal overdoses and COVID-19 deaths have decreased.
“Suicides are very high,” Dake said. “We’re working with Compass Health on suicide prevention programs throughout the county.”
