St. Clair Teen Fatally Injured In Crash

A St. Clair teen was fatally injured in a crash Thursday on Highway TT near Aitch Road in Franklin County.

The highway patrol does not release the names of juveniles involved in accidents.

He is only identified in the report as a 15-year-old.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said two other occupants had injuries.

One 16-year-old male — the driver of the vehicle that crashed — was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.

Another 15-year-old male was taken by private conveyance to Mercy Hospital in Washington.

The highway patrol said the accident occurred at 4:20 p.m.

A 2001 Dodge Dakota went off the roadway, down an embankment and overturned, striking a utility pole. 

All three occupants were wearing seat belts.
