Three Charged With Breaking Into Gerald Homes
Three people have been charged after they allegedly broke into Gerald home and stole several items, including a firearm and golf cart.
Robert Jennings, 44, Augusta; Nora Nichols, 26, Augusta; and Nichole Littrell, 37, Union, each face charges.
Jennings and Nichols have been charged with second-degree burglary. Their bonds were set at $20,000.
Littrell has been charged with trespassing and stealing. Her bond has been set at $15,000.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the burglary happened April 29 in the 3000 block fo Tegeler Road.
The next day, deputies went to the 6000 block of Highway Y in Gerald where they found items that had previously been inside a residence on the property were removed and piled on the ground.
It was unknown if anything had been removed from the home.
Later that evening, deputies received information that the suspects had returned to the burglary scene.
Gerald Police and an off-duty deputy went to the home on Highway Y and located a woman standing outside the residence next to a pickup truck containing items loaded onto the flatbed.
Deputies detained the female, then made entry and located Jennings and Nichols.
