Collier Submits Sherman, Nabs Performance Bonus At UFC Vegas

Cuba native Jake "The Prototype" Collier opened 2022 with a first round submission victory on Saturday over Chase Sherman at UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas.

Collier tapped out Sherman at the 2:26 mark to earn a Performance of the Night bonus.

The bruising heavyweight worked the fight to the ground where he won with a rear naked choke.

Collier improved to 13-6.

His teammate Dakota Bush, a St. Clair native, was unable to sweep the night for Smith Pit MMA.

Bush lost by first round knockout to Viacheslav Borshchev.
