Catalytic Converter Thieves Hit City Vehicles

The Sullivan Police Department is investigating the theft of three catalytic converters from Sullivan Water and Sewer Department, 248 East Springfield Rd., sometime over the weekend of November 20-22.

Officers were contacted by the department on Monday, November 22, at 8:44 a.m. and reported that the thefts had occurred to three converters from department trucks.

The estimated value of the thefts totaled in excess of $2,400.
