34th Annual Screamin’ Eagles March Band Festival Saturday

The 34th annual Screamin’ Eagles Marching Band Festival will be held Saturday, September 25, with the parade downtown beginning at 9 a.m. with at least 11 bands participating in the parade competition and at least 14 in the field competition. The SHS Screamin’ Eagles will be participating in exhibition only along with Sullivan Middle School.

A complete list of bands attending was not available at press time.

There are several important items to remember when attending the field competition only buses, support vehicles, and handicapped vehicles are allowed to park on the high school campus.

There will be three shuttle buses running from the Sullivan Christian Church, off Highway 185 South, Temple Baptist Church, Beeman St., and Sullivan Elementary School on West Washington.

Admission into the field competition will be $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and students with four and under free.

Guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs for the field completion as well as the parade route which will run up Springfield Rd. to Clark St., down Main St. and conclude at Sullivan Elementary.
