Sullivan Rolls Through Savannah To Reach Class 3 Title Game
The state title is one win away.
With a 10-2 victory against Savannah in Friday's Class 3 semifinal at Killian Softball Complex, the Lady Eagles moved on to the Class 3 championship against Helias.
First pitch is scheduled at 4 p.m.
Sullivan (25-6) scored two runs each in the first, second and third innings, then added four more in the sixth.
Saturday's title game against Helias will see the Lady Eagles face a familiar foe. During the 2016 and 2017 seasons, both Sullivan and Helias squared off for the district championship. Sullivan won both times.
The Lady Eagles are in the championship game for the first time since 2016 and third time in program history.
