The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a Sullivan man was killed in an accident when he struck a deer Thursday on Highway J, four miles north of Bourbon.
The Sullivan Police Department made seven arrests for the week of Oct. 23 through Oct. 29 in the City of Sullivan.
This week's arrests were:
Sullivan Ministerial Alliance Thanksgiving service presents Dr. Dennis Swanberg. He will be at the First Presbyterian Church on Friday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Bourbon board members voted Oct. 17 to add two federal holidays as paid vacation days.
Since October 1982, October has been recognized as Head Start Awareness Month and Bourbon Head celebrated last week.
