Union Man Faces Gun Charges

A Union man with a criminal record faces two gun charges.
Justis F. Clement, born 1997, was charged March 31 with unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon — exhibiting.
A complaint on file alleges that Clement knowingly exhibited “in the pretense of one more or persons a handgun…in an angry or threatening manner.”
Clement was convicted for second-degree burglary in December 2015.
Clement is being held without bond at the Franklin County Jail. He appeared in court March 31 and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for May 1.
