Turkey Trot Raises $6,400 For Sullivan Special Olympics
The third annual Anytime Fitness Turkey Trot raised more than $6,400 for the Sullivan Special Olympics program following the completion of another successful event that has brought in $16,000 over three years.
“A huge thank you to all of the business sponsors, participants, Gasconade Timing Company and all the team at Anytime Fitness, Sullivan, for helping to make this event a success,” said Maggie West Heidbrink, owner. “We had 160 registered runners with 133 on race day along with 20 business sponsors.”
The overall male running winner was Braydon Sheffield, with a time of 19:59 and top overall female winner was Eden Lambert, 23:52.
“We are already planning for our fourth annual Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 24, 2022, again Thanksgiving morning,” said Heidbrink. “We look forward to another great year.”
