Tennessee Law Enforcement Arrest Man Wanted In Franklin County
A Dittmer man wanted in Franklin County was arrested in Tennessee.
According to the Carthage Courier, Jay E. Pierce, 39, was stopped on Interstate 40.
Pierce was wanted in Franklin County for violating his parole.
He also had a warrant for his arrest in Jefferson County for controlled substances.
Pierce was stopped because a deputy saw he wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
Pierce also did not have a driver’s license due to not paying child support.
A K-9 officer was brought in and alerted law enforcement to a scent.
Pierce allegedly admitted to possessing meth and marijuana, along with two glass pipes. He also had a loaded .380 caliber handgun.
