Teen Drowns In Meramec River

A Sullivan teen drowned June 20 in the Meramec River.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the 17-year-old male was swimming around 7:02 p.m. and became fatigued.
The teen was pulled underneath the water by an undercurrent.
He was located at the Blue Springs Conservation Access in Crawford County and pronounced deceased at 8:39 p.m.
