Sullivan School District Scores 73.3 Percent On APR
The Sullivan School District scored 73.3 percent on the Missouri Department of Elementary and Education’s (DESE) Annual Performance Report.
The APR reflects the 2021-22 school year and is the first scored under the sixth version of the Missouri School Improvement Plan (MSIP 6).
Because of the new standards, the score cannot be compared to previous APRs. It also reflects the ongoing impact of the pandemic and separates scoring for achievement status and growth.
A district earns 70 percent of its score through performance and 30 percent through continuous improvement.
Districts can earn up to 180 points.
Sullivan received 132 points.
The state average was 76.9 percent.
Sullivan earned 36 out of 48 points in academic achievement status and only eight out of 36 points for growth.
The district received 15 out of 20 points for success-ready students.
Sullivan received the maximum 20 points for graduation and maximum four points for graduate follow-up.
Sullivan totaled 83 out of 128 possible points overall in performance.
The district fared better in continuous improvement, receiving 49 out of 52 points.
Sullivan received all 30 points in its Continuous Improvement Plan, all four points in Climate and Culture Survey, all six points in required documentation and nine out of 12 points in success-ready measures.
Sullivan scored above the state average in percentage of students who attend school at least 85 percent of the time — 83.1 percent compared to 80.9 percent across the state.
