Sullivan Police Investigating Vandalism
Sullivan Police are investigating the vandalism of 12 properties April 20-23 that are believed to have been the target of vandalism.
The vandalism includes graffiti and some catalytic converters removed from vehicles.
The first incident came in to Sullivan Police on April 20, at 1:56 a.m., after a person in the 300 block of Ramsey reported that their catalytic converter was removed from their vehicle while at work.
A rash of incidents involving spray painted cars, homes and fences was reported on North Church St., Park St., Pine St., Bell St., Maple, Euclid and East Euclid on the morning of April 21.
A church van in the 200 block of Clark St. reported Friday, April 23, that their van had been spray painted and the catalytic converter removed.
According to Sullivan Police Lt. Patrick Johnson, one suspect, a 17-year-old male, has been arrested in connection to these incidents. However other suspect or suspects are also believed to be involved.
