Sullivan Man Arrested For Armed Robbery

A Sullivan man is accused of armed robbery after following a motorcyclist and stealing the keys.

Robert S. Sanneman, 32, was charged Aug. 6 with first-degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon and stealing less than $150.

The incident allegedly occurred Aug. 5 in the 100 block of Airport Road.

The victim said they were being followed by Sanneman, who got out of a car with a gun and stole the keys to the motorcycle.

Sanneman was located in the 100 block of Mervin Street in Sullivan, where he later admitted to stealing the keys while being armed.

Sanneman is a convicted felon in Missouri, Georgia and New York.
