Sullivan Fire’s Santa Sleigh Begins Dec. 6

The Sullivan Fire Protection District’s annual Santa Sleigh will begin its journey throughout the City of Sullivan on Monday, December 6, as firefighters bring Santa to the East Vine and Watson Road areas, followed Tuesday night, December 7, in the Lilac and Crawford Circle areas.

On Wednesday, December 8, Santa and the firefighters will visit the north side of the city at Falcon and North and South Road.

This will be followed by a visit along West Springfield, North Park and other neighborhoods in this area on Thursday night, December 9.

Each night, Santa will be on a sleigh with firefighters starting at 6 p.m. and will run well into the evening with some stops later than 7:30 p.m.

Firefighters will work to meet all their planned stops but could be subject to change should an event arise in which they are needed or inclement weather.
