Students Punished For Releasing Chickens On School
Two Sullivan High School male seniors faced disciplinary actions from the Sullivan School District following an incident in which they allegedly released several chickens into the baseball dugout of the high school and high school campus late Monday night, May 17, or early Tuesday morning, May 18.
Sullivan Police Animal Control and Officers were called to 1073 East Vine at 6:18 a.m. to help deal with the chickens before the start of school Tuesday morning.
The chickens were unharmed and the male students reportedly did not face charges but did receive alleged in school suspension for the ‘Senior Prank.’
The names of the students were not released at press time by Sullivan High School.
Authorities remind students not to take part in these types of incidents.
