Steelville Man Dies In Motorcycle Crash

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a Steelville man died Saturday after crashing his motorcycle on Hickory Road.
James H. Goers, 62, was traveling two miles northeast of Steelville around 11:13 a.m. when he traveled off the left side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned.
Goers, who was not wearing a safety device, was taken to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital. He was pronounced dead at 1:33 p.m.
