Police Identify Man Found Deceased Along Interstate 44

The body of a man found deceased March 28 along Interstate 44 has been identified officially as Nicholas W. Watson, 35.
Watson’s body was located by a passing motorist in the median between the two Sullivan exits.
The motorist, being a trained medic, reported to authorities that the male was deceased.
Sullivan Police initially responded and maintained custody of the scene of the incident until Missouri State Highway Patrol Troopers arrived and stated they would handle the investigation since it took place on I-44.
The highway patrol has not released any details into the investigation or cause of death at press time.
