Pacific Man Arrested For Assaulting Female Victim

A Pacific man was arrested Feb. 16 after allegedly assaulting a female victim.

Branden V. Stricklan, 35, was charged with second-degree domestic assault.

He is being held without bond.

Deputies to the 300 block of Country Aire Lane in Pacific for a Domestic Disturbance. 

While responding to the scene, deputies received reports from Franklin County 911 that the suspect had choked the victim. 

Upon arriving on the scene, the reporting party stated the suspect had grabbed her, throwing her to the ground and began choking and striking her. 

The suspect admitted they had been fighting and arguing. 

The suspect also admitted to having thrown the victim down and assaulting her. 

The victim had visible injuries consistent with information gathered during interviews.
