Overschmidt Topples Boland, Cox Wins In Franklin County

Republican Paul Overschmidt toppled Franklin County District 1 Commissioner Todd Boland on Tuesday, receiving 53 percent of the vote against the incumbent.
Overschmidt is unopposed in November and is likely to be sworn in this January.
Ken Cox won the Republican primary in District 2.
Former District 2 commissioner Dave Hinson remained on the ballot even though he took a job in Colorado.
