NCCAD Truck Crashes En Route To Maintenance, No Injuries Reported
A North Crawford County Ambulance District truck was involved in a single-vehicle accident Monday morning while en route to routine maintenance, according to local authorities.
Chief Jeremy Stetina said the accident occurred at approximately 8:55 a.m. when Ambulance Truck 3647 encountered hazardous road conditions, causing the vehicle to veer off the right side of the roadway. The truck sustained significant damage and will remain out of service, the district said in a statement.
The truck was not in active service at the time, and ambulance coverage in the area was not affected. The employee driving the vehicle was unharmed.
