Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital Announces Major Expansion

BJC-Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital has announced a $14.6 million expansion set to begin in April, with plans to complete the 12-month project by the first quarter of 2026.

The new two-story addition to the Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital Medical Office Building will house primary care, pediatrics, and psychotherapy services. The facility will accommodate six physicians on each floor.

This expansion follows the near completion of a $7 million remodel of the hospital's Emergency Department, which will increase the number of treatment rooms from 11 to 16.

According to hospital administrator Lisa Lochner, Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital has experienced significant growth over the past five to six years, leading to multiple expansion projects. Recent developments include a new state-of-the-art sports and rehabilitation facility, the Emergency Department remodel, and the upcoming medical office addition.

“The new Medical Providers Building is expected to take 12 months to complete, weather permitting, with occupancy planned for early 2026,” Lochner said.

Kadean Construction, currently finishing the Emergency Department renovation, has been awarded the contract for the new medical office project.
