Labadie Man Points Stolen Gun At Victim During Argument
A Labadie man has been charged with multiple felonies after he allegedly pointed a gun at a victim’s head during an argument.
The gun had been stolen and defaced
Jacob Delisi, 40, faces charges for 4th degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a defaced firearm with a $75,000.00 cash only bond.
On Sunday 10/30/2022, Franklin Co Missouri 911/Communications received a call in reference to a domestic assault no longer in progress in the 700 block of Sparrow Ln.
Information was obtained that the suspect had fled the residence in a vehicle taken without consent. This information was broadcasted to deputies in an attempt to locate the vehicle and suspect.
While officers were en route to the scene, a Franklin County deputy located the vehicle and suspect in the Villa Ridge area of Franklin County. Contact with the subject was made and he was detained in reference to the stolen vehicle and domestic assault. During the course of the investigation, it was confirmed the suspect, Jacob Delisi, had active warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the Franklin County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
Contact was made with the reporting party at his residence who advised Mr. Delisi lives at his residence and stays in a shed on the property. The reporting party advised he woke Jacob up and told him that he needed to clean his belongings out of the yard and this is when Mr. Delisi became upset and began arguing with the reporting party. A short time later, Jacob retrieved a sawed-off shotgun out of the shed, pointed it at the reporting party's head, and threatened to shoot him. After the confrontation, Mr. Delisi fled the area in the reporting party’s vehicle.
Permission to search the shed was granted. Located in the shed was a sawed-off shotgun that had been used in the domestic assault, a 30-30 rifle that had been reported stolen out of Jefferson County, and a .44 black powder rifle.
