Four Sullivan Residents Injured In Crash
Four Sullivan residents, including two juveniles, were injured Monday in an accident at Highway 50 and Highway AT in Franklin County.
Jacob R. Miller, 26, Sabrina Schaeffer, 29 and two juvenile females — ages 3 and 4 — were treated for injuries.
Miller and the 3-year-old had moderate injuries.
Schaeffer and the 4-year-old had minor injuries.
All were taken to Mercy Hospital in Washington by private conveyance.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when Miller, driving a 2005 Dodge Caravan, failed to yield to a 2010 Hyundai Elantra, driven by Abigail Fury, 25, Union. Miller was attempting to cross Highway 50 from Highway AT.
The front of Fury’s vehicle struck the left side of Miller’s van, which caused it skid and rotate out of control.
Miller’s vehicle struck a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Drew Stallmann, 24, Union.
Fury and Stallmann were uninjured.
